A bit about Kristin Kurz

Kristin currently lives in Connecticut, is originally from New Jersey, and has lived in over 10 states since the age of 18. Her professional work started in the theatre industry, then moving to higher education. She currently works in alumni engagement with Yale Law School.

More importantly, in her spare time, she is an avid reader, crafter, sailer, cyclist, snowboarder, skateboarder, snowshoer, runner, hiker, and adventurer serving as a lifeguard, water safety instructor, an outdoor educator, facilitator, camp counselor, international tour guide, and sailing and canoe instructor. Kristin has been a Girl Scout for over 30 years, working at the national and international level to empower girls and young women.

Her recent adventures include a 60-mile bike-packing trip along the shore line of Connecticut, hiking her way around the Connecticut hills and mountains, working to hike the fire towers in the Catskills, and running 5ks. Upcoming adventures include a bike-packing trip from Burlington, VT to Montreal, cycling through the Pinelands of NJ, and completing a 52 hike challenge.
